Water for Injection – Sterile Solution for Research & Peptide Reconstitution
Water for Injection is a sterile, nonpyrogenic solution designed for the safe dilution and reconstitution of peptides and other research compounds. It is supplied in a single-dose 10mL container, ensuring sterility and purity when used under proper storage conditions.
Key Benefits of Water for Injection
Sterile & Nonpyrogenic – Ensures the highest level of purity for research applications.Versatile Use – Suitable for diluting and dissolving peptides for injection.Balanced pH – Maintains a pH of 5.7 (range: 4.5 – 7.0) for optimal compatibility.Safe for Repeated Withdrawals – Can be used multiple times when stored correctly.Essential for Peptide Reconstitution – Provides an ideal solvent for preparing research compounds.
Dosage Instructions
- Peptides are reconstituted by adding a measured amount of sterile water to the peptide vial.
- For example, if 2mL of water is used to dissolve a 2mg peptide vial, the resulting concentration is 1mg/mL (1000mcg/mL).
- At the time of dosing, an insulin syringe is used for precise measurement and injection.
- Using the example above, a 1000mcg (1mg) dose would require 1mL (100 IU) on an insulin syringe.
- Injection routes include subcutaneous, intramuscular, or intravenous, depending on preference and research application.
- If necessary, multiple peptide solutions can be drawn into the same syringe to reduce the total number of injections.
Storage
Store in a cool, dark place to maintain sterility and stability.
